All employees of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Engine Plant responded to the call, their morale soaring, and all fronts launched a full-scale assault on the first quarter’s production and operation targets with the high-spirited fighting spirit of “starting strong and sprinting ahead from the beginning”!

Ensuring supply and stabilizing the supply chain requires concerted efforts from top to bottom to overcome difficulties.

At this crucial moment in striving for a strong start to the first quarter, Jinan Engine Plant firmly established a holistic strategic mindset, broke down departmental barriers, and adhered to the principles of “concentrating resources on the front line, favoring the front line with policies, and resolving problems on the front line.” It comprehensively coordinated and allocated human and equipment resources and promptly adjusted its production model.

♦ Management and engineering personnel went deep into the front line to support production, working alongside production teams to build a rapid response and efficient linkage working mechanism.
♦ Optimize information feedback channels to ensure rapid response and resolution of production issues within 2 hours, and develop and conduct drills for emergency plans to manually shut down automated warehouses.
♦ Establish a daily communication mechanism with suppliers to ensure timely technical and supply support by providing early warnings of fluctuations.

Precision manufacturing reduces costs, and collaborative efforts overcome new challenges.

Faced with difficulties in the production process, Jinan Engine Plant formed a problem-solving team. After repeated verification, they successfully overcame the difficulties, reducing the processing time of a single part by 200 seconds and pushing the single-shift production capacity to a new level.

Meanwhile, in order to further tap the potential for cost reduction, the finance department innovated accounting methods, built a full-process cost analysis system, extended cost control to all aspects of production and operation, implemented a dynamic management model, tracked the fluctuations of various cost indicators in a timely manner, and promoted the transformation of cost control from “post-event accounting” to “Prevent prediction and in-event control”.

Strengthen accountability and ensure everyone works together to safeguard safety.

Faced with high production pressure, Jinan Engine Plant has always kept safety in mind, deeply embedding the “safety first” concept into all aspects of production and operation, and adhering to the red line awareness and bottom line thinking. The plant has organized all team leaders and managers to conduct in-depth hazard investigations, ensuring safety responsibilities are effectively implemented at each level, especially for work involving the assembly of oil, gas, and water systems, strictly controlling the compliance and standardization of personnel operations.

In addition, Jinan Engine Plant also conducted rounds of explanations on typical issues for “yellow vest” personnel and provided one-on-one training for new employees, effectively improving employees’ risk identification and handling capabilities, ensuring that production and operation move forward at full speed on a safe and stable track, and laying a solid guarantee for winning the “good start” battle.
